WHAT IS SCREENWISE CHILDREN?
Screenwise Children is an educational and advisory service dedicated to developing children’s understanding on the dangers of smartphones and protecting childhood.
We partner directly with schools to deliver a sustainable program that supports children’s mental health, enhances academic focus, and unifies the school community.
How do we help schools and families?
We provide a complete support system designed to delay smartphone use and protect children’s mental health. Our expert-led programme empowers the entire school community through three key steps:
Community Education: We deliver interactive workshops and talks for teachers, parents, and children to build understanding and set healthy digital boundaries.
Systemic Change: We guide school leaders in implementing fundamental policy and infrastructure changes to remove the negative impacts of smartphones from the school day.
Sustainable Support: We train an in-house “Screenwise Lead” to ensure the education and support continue for future students, creating lasting cultural change.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
The evidence is now overwhelming: early, unrestricted access to smartphones is fundamentally altering childhood.
Mental Health Crisis
Teens with problematic smartphone use are twice as likely to suffer from anxiety and three times as likely to have depression.
Exposure to Harm
51% of 11-13 year-olds have already encountered hardcore pornography online.
Constant Distraction
46% of teens say they are online “almost constantly,” severely compromising their ability to concentrate and learn.
Sleep Deprivation
Bedtime smartphone use doubles the risk of poor sleep, undermining a child’s health and ability to function at school.
